September 12, 2018 – Sharon Wrege’s Quilt
Be sure to stop by the Library and look at the beautiful Grand Prize Quilt made and donated by Sharon Wrege. The quilt’s colors are a vibrant reflection of the Fall season. Additional raffle prizes are on display. Raffle tickets are $1 each and the raffle will be held on Saturday, September 29th. Thank you for buying tickets and for all the great prizes!
Library School Storytime will continue to meet on Thursday mornings at 9 AM through October. We share a story, song, rhyme, and make a craft project. All children are welcome to attend with an adult caregiver. Sing, listen, and craft as your child is able with your help. Sign-up by calling (715-274-8331) or stopping by the library. This week we’ll be reading, “Big Yellow Sunflower” by Frances Barry.
Conversation & Crafts meets Thursday nights at 7 PM. Everyone is welcome to bring their own handcraft projects. Share ideas and patterns, learn something new or just stop by and visit.
Thursday, September 27th at 7 PM we will be painting rocks. Bring smooth rocks and your imagination. We will have paint, brushes, Mod Podge, and a variety of ideas to spark your creativity. This will be in conjunction with Conversation & Crafts.
The Friends of the Library’s Used Book Sale shelves are overflowing! Fill a paper bag for $2, fill a plastic bag for $1, hardcover books are 25 cents, paperback books are 10 cents, CDs and DVDs are 50 cents, and magazines are free. No additional donations of books or puzzles are being taken at this time.
