The Friends Place

Kaleidoscope at The Friends Place
Asahi Nordic Exercise will continue on Wednesday mornings at 8:30am at The Friends Place beginning August 13. This time and place work for most. If you are wondering what this exercise is like, please stop by and see for yourself. The exercises are completed while standing, but we do have members who do them seated. The focus is on movement and breathing. It is a wonderful way to start the morning, stretching in the fresh air with birds singing and a view of the Penokee Mountains. If the weather is poor, we will move indoors.
The Friends of the Library wish to extend an invitation to you all to join us for a Family Fun Night as a Dedication for the Kaleidoscope on Monday, August 18th at 6pm. We hope to have a little ceremony, song(s), and root beer floats. I hope you will join us for this event as we wrap up Summer and look forward to all that the Fall season has to offer.
The last Summer Reading Book Club will be held following the dedication at 7pm on August 18th. We will discuss “The Lioness” by Chris Bohjalian.
