Take & Make Tree Project 12/01/2021

Nasi Construction has decided to have their workers continue with laying the pavers.  They’ve set up a tent and you can watch their progress from inside the library.  We’re so excited about the opportunities that will open for the library and our community in this new space. We have been brainstorming ideas for its future use and Summer Reading.  Please share your thoughts and ideas.
The Friends of the Library have an ongoing used book sale.  Stop by and see what’s available.  Recommended prices are 25 cents for hardcover books, 10 cents for paperbacks, 50 cents for books on CD & DVDs.  The best deal is ‘Fill a Bag of $1’.  Stop by and see what may find a home on your shelf.
There’s a new Take & Make project for December.  It’s a twig triangle tree.  You wrap yarn around it for the branches and decorate.  It’s very cute.  Our supply is limited so stop by soon to get yours and check out our new children’s bookshelf to see what may interest you.
For those of you who have heard of the, ‘Bridgerton’ series, but don’t have Netflix, checkout the books the series was based on at the Library.  We also have the following books in large print: the 3rd book in the ‘Ladies of the Lake’ series (The lake is Lake Superior.) by Tracie Peterson; ‘It’s Better This Way’ by Debbie Macomber; ‘The Beginning’ by Beverly Lewis; and ‘While Justice Sleeps’ by Stacey Abrams.
Hope to see you soon at the Library!
