Summer Book Club, 5/12/2021
It was such a delight to welcome one and all back inside the library! All who entered were positive and shared a variety of uplifting thoughts about their hopeful expectations for the future, their love of the library, books, reading and the ability to browse the shelves in person.
Take & Make bags are available for pickup. This month there are two projects, butterflies and flowers for May. Come and see what’s new in the Children’s space. Summer Reading plans are underway. Points will be recorded, medals awarded, and a drawing for prizes will be held. Weekly Take & Make bags will be made available beginning in June. Let us know of your interest and we will sign you up. All ages are welcome!
We’re offering a Summer Reading Outdoor Book Club for grownups. Membership is capped at 10, but if there is enough interest a second group will be formed. The first book is, “Out of the Northwoods, The Many Lives of Paul Bunyan” by M.E. Banyon. We will meet Monday, June 7 at 6 pm on the lawn below the parking lot. We will also meet on Monday, July 12 @ 6 pm and Monday August 9 at 6 pm. Since we are meeting outside, we ask that you bring your own camp chair, beverage, and bug spray.
