Santa Claus Is Coming 12/08/2021

Santa & Mrs. Claus will be visiting the Library this Saturday, December 11 from 1-3 pm.  Stop by the Library to share your wish lists and don’t forget your camera.  Children will receive a book and may be entered into a drawing to win a bike.  Thank you to the Mellen Lions Club for inviting Santa & Mrs. Claus to visit us at the Mellen Library & Senior Center.  Masks are encouraged.

While visiting Santa you are welcome to check out books from the Library.  You may also browse the Friends of the Library’s used book sale.  DVDs, audio books on CD, and music on CD are also available. The best deal is ‘Fill a Bag for $1’.

A December book order went out . . . I’ve been checking a variety of ‘Best Books of 2021’ lists.  It’s fun to see which books make more than one list or the ‘top choice’ for the different publications.  It’s also interesting to see which book is the ‘Bestseller’ for the varying companies.  You may access ‘The New York Times Bestsellers’ from the NWLN Catalog.  Check it out you may find a good book for gifting this year or a new read for yourself.
