Remember to Be Kind 2/16/2022

This is Kindness Week!  Fill out a slip of paper at the library about an act of kindness and receive a Smartie and an entry into a drawing for a “Honey” of a prize.  Last week two littles stopped by and shared:  “I gave people candy and cookies.  I helped open a chocolate milk.  I helped pick up tissue paper.” “Dad helped me!” and “Mom helped me feel better.”  There’s nothing like someone to share their treats, their expertise, and their time.  And there’s nothing like the everyday kindness of Moms and Dads helping their kids through the day.  Share with us how kindness has inspired your day. We want to pass it on!

The Great Backyard Bird Count is this weekend, February 18-22.  Check-in to birdcount.org for more information.  If you are unable to access this online, stop by the library and we’ll help you access this site on our computers.  The library has a variety of bird identification, how to build houses & feeders and bird stories both fiction and non-fiction available.  We’ve also added some adult coloring pages of birds.  Feel free to pick one up.

Bellringer Volunteers are needed.  Sign-up to help by calling the library, 715-274-8331.  Thank you!
