Join us in welcoming Attorney Ryan Long to the Library on Friday, May 16th at 10am.  He will present, “An Introduction to Estate Planning and Paying for Long-Term Care”.  He will discuss important estate planning concepts such as powers of attorney, wills, probate avoidance, revocable trusts, asset protection trusts, and special needs trusts. Mr. Long will also spend some time discussing the use of Medicare and Medicaid to pay for long-term care and preserve assets. Please join us for this timely message hosted by the Friends of the Library.

Color Our World is the Summer Reading theme this year.  We plan on 6 weeks of programs for Our Littles 0-5 years old and our Middles 1st-5th Grades.  There will be additional activities for the Teens 6th-12h Grades and Adults to participate in throughout the Summer.  Our Summer Reading brochure will be available soon with more details.  Reading points for medals begins on June 1st and ends on August 30th.  Underway right now is the NWLN Passport Program.  You may pick up a passport from the Mellen Library and get your first official stamp.  Visit nine additional libraries and you will be entered to win prizes.

Stop by and help us finish our Stick Together puzzle before school lets out for the summer.
