The library’s virtual Summer Reading programming, “Page Turner Adventures” begins next Monday, June 22 at 10 AM.  Send a message to Legion Memorial Library’s Facebook page to join our closed group, “Summer Reading 2020”.  This is where new posts of Page Turner Adventures will be posted Monday-Friday for 10 weeks.  Programs are based around the theme of, Storytelling.  Each week there will be a pre-recorded live comedy adventure show, author visits & interviews, crafts & activities, guest performances and virtual field trips.  Hope to ‘see’ you there.
Interlibrary Loans are back!  Our Northern Waters Library Service lending & borrowing along with our Monday, Wednesday, Friday delivery service is back on.  Quarantine times will slow the process a bit, so your patience is appreciated.  Let the NWLS member libraries sharing begin!
Curbside Pickup for library materials will continue.  Phone, 715-274-8331 to place requests – please do leave a message; email, [email protected]; or place holds yourself using your library card.
Our Annual Summer Reading Challenge is on for all ages.  Earn reading points and enter our drawing once you reach 60 reading points.  Opportunities for extra tickets will be offered throughout the summer.  This month color a picture of a cow or tractor for an extra drawing ticket.  Share pictures by email, mail (PO Box 47) or book drop.  Share points the same way or by phone.
Coming to our hillside soon, a Picture Book Path.
