October 31, 2018 – Happy Halloween!

Need a spooky story to share?  There are still a few left on the library shelves.  Stop by and pick one up to share with your little pumpkins, super heroes, goblins, ghosts, witches, and angels.  Need more of a scare?  Try “Haunted Wisconsin” by Michael Norman or “Spooky Wisconsin Tales” by S.E. Schlosser.

The Friends of the Library will meet on Thursday, November 1st at 5 p.m.  followed by Conversation & Crafts at 7 p.m.  This year we’ll be making lap blankets for the Northwest Wisconsin Cancer Center of Memorial Medical Center.

The Friends of the Library will be hosting a Foreign Exchange Student Reception on Wednesday, November 14th at 6 p.m.  Come join us in welcoming Mellen students Diego and Melih, and Father Papi to our community Refreshments will be served.

On Saturday, November 17th at 1 p.m. an acrylic painting session will take place.  We’ll be painting, “Autumn Walk” via YouTube with Painting by Jane.  Class size is limited to six.  Please stop by or call the library to register.  There are only three spots left.
