November 28, 2018 – The Gift of Time
The Mellen Lions & Lioness Clubs have once again written to the North Pole and invited the Claus’s to visit. Mr. & Mrs. Santa Claus have let us know that they will be stopping at the Library on Saturday, December 8th from 1-3 PM. Be sure to bring your camera and wish lists!
Twice a month the library welcomes volunteer, Megan Haderly. Through her donation of time, Megan cleans and organizes the children’s puzzles and trains, replaces filled due date slips, cleans windows and window sills, waters plants, and helps in ordering new books by checking for duplicates on the online catalog. We appreciate the time and dedication Megan has shown in volunteering at the library. Thanks, Megan!
Thank you to our Library Board of Trustees: Pete Russo, President; Amber Ericksen, Vice President; Kristi Broeniman, Treasurer; Mardy Ehrhardt, Secretary; Betty White; Tana Turonie; Melinda Colver; and Emilie Schutte. It is through their gift of time and talents that we are able to serve our extended community. Thank you, one and all!
Thank you to the Friends of Our Wonderful Library, FOWL, for all you do to support the programs and services offered. Thank you, Lawrence White, President; Georgene Ericksen, Treasurer; and Laura Neumann, Secretary and the many members old and new. This organization was established on December 8, 1976 and they continue their tradition of service in support of the library. Thanks, Friends!
