November 20 – Last Storytime till 2020
Library School Storytime will meet one more time, Thursday, November 21st at 9 AM before they take a break for the Holidays. The theme of the day will center around the book, “Up, Down & Around” by Katherine Ayres. Programs are planned for three year olds to attend with an adult caregiver, but older and younger children are welcome to attend. We’ll be using fabric paint and vegetables to create a one of a kind dish towel for each child to take home. Plan for painting.
Wednesday, December 4th at 1:30 PM the Library will be showing the movie, Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas, starring Jim Carrey. Stop in and enjoy the movie with us. We’ll have popcorn and you are welcome to bring your own additional snacks and beverage.
Guess who’s coming to town?!? The Mellen Lions & Lioness Clubs have invited Santa & Mrs. Claus to visit the Library on Saturday, December 7th, 1-3 PM. You are welcome to bring your wish lists and cameras. The Clauses are looking forward to seeing all the children!
The Handbook Committee will meet on Monday, November 25th at 4:30 PM. The Library Board of Trustees will meet the same night following the Committee meeting at 5:30 PM.
Join us in wishing Sue MacArthur, “Best Wishes!” as she retires and begins a new chapter on Wednesday, November 27th 2-5 PM. We’ll be serving cake.
The Library will be closed for Thanksgiving, Thursday, November 28th and Friday, November 29th. We will be open on Saturday, November 30th 9 AM – Noon.
