New Large Print Titles 4/27/2022

New Books have been added this past week.  A number of them are large print, as this type of material has been requested more and more often.  Stop by and check out our selection of large print materials, including the Reader’s Digest.
New large print books:  Attic on Queen Street by Karen White, Banished by Linda Byler, Dream Town by David Baldacci, Fear Thy Neighbor by Fern Michaels, Golden Couple by Greer Hendricks, Recovery Agent by Janet Evanovich, Robin’s Greeting by Wanda E. Brunstetter, Shadows Reel by C. J. Box, and Strangers Game by Colleen Coble.
New Non-Fiction:  Four Seasons of Jackie Robinson by Kostya Kennedy, From Strength to Strength, Finding Success, Happiness, and Deep Purpose in the Second Half of Life by Arthur C. Brooks, and Trials of Harry S. Truman, The Extraordinary Presidency of an Ordinary Man, 1945-1953 by Jeffrey Frank.
New to our collection:  Tin Camp Road by Ellen Airgood, also the author of South of Superior; a book our book club enjoyed.  Tin Camp Road is set in the U.P. and where the author resides and runs a diner in Grand Marais.  Both works are fictional and share a sense of family, friendship, and the beauty and trials of living on the shores of Lake Superior.
Friday night’s paint night was a success.  You may checkout our finished Robins nest paintings on the library’s Facebook page, Legion Memorial Library. Our next painting will be, ‘Loose Poppies Floral’ by the Art Sherpa in honor of May’s Memorial Day.  Contact the library to register and receive a materials list. One session is full.  An additional session is planned for May 21st at 12:30 pm.
Library School Storytime is underway on Thursday mornings at 9 am.  Contact the library if you wish to attend. This is a program for 3 year olds to attend with an adult caregiver.  We sing, share a story, and make a craft.  This week we’ll be reading Eric Carle’s, “Where Is the Sun?”
We have set out a group coloring page on our table.  Stop by visit and color a bit.
Hope to see you soon at the library!
