Mr. & Mrs. Santa Claus to Visit the Library

The Friends will meet on Thursday, December 7 at 5pm.  We hope you will join us as 2023 comes to a close and we look forward to 2024. Stay awhile or join us at 6pm to decorate a tree cookie for The Friends Place tree.

Mr. & Mrs. Santa Claus will be at the library this Saturday, December 9, 1-3pm.  Stop by with your Wish Lists and camera to visit with this jolly couple.  Each child will be presented with a gift of a book and a chance to enter a drawing for a bike, courtesy of the Mellen Lions Club. We hope you join us in giving Santa and Mrs. Claus and warm welcome.

The Acrylic Painters will meet on Thursday, December 14, 6-9pm.  We will be painting along with Angela Anderson’s “Red Christmas Truck with Wreath” video.  The tutorial is about 2 hours long.  Contact the library if you would like to attend.

The library will be replacing the carpet in December. We will need to be closed for a few days to accomplish this. The library will close early on December 21 at 3:30pm to begin moving furnishings for the carpet to be removed on the 22.  Installation will take place over the long weekend.  The library will be closed until Thursday, December 28,  with our regular open hours 10am-5pm.  We’ll have a fresh new look for 2024 thanks to our Friends of the Library and help from the Mellen Lions Club.
