March 18 – Library Closing

To help limit the spread of COVID-19 in our community, Legion Memorial Library will be closed March 17th-April 5th.  We hope to reopen April 6th.
Checkout our Library‘s website:  legionmemoriallibrary.org and Facebook page:  Legion Memorial Library, for updates.  I’ll also continue to write the Mellen Weekly Record’s Library News column.
All library events and programs have been cancelled through April.  This includes:  book clubs, acrylic painting classes and Storytime.  The Library Board of Trustees meeting and handbook committee meeting, scheduled for March 24 will be postponed.
If you would like to return your library materials, the outdoor book drop is available.  If you wish, you may keep books, DVDs and other library materials you have checked out until we re-open.  We have changed the due dates to April 11th.  As  our library does not charge fines, please don’t worry about a late fee.
Ebooks and digital audio books are available through Overdrive, found and accessible through our library‘s website.  So are Gale Online Courses.
Wi Fi is available from the parking lot.  Many already access this service from the comfort of their vehicle.
Stay tuned for updates.
