Little Free Library 5/11/2022
The Friends of the Library have installed a Little Free Library at Gilman Park. This is a great spot to exchange your favorite books with your neighbors and visitors to our city. Take a book and leave a book if you wish.
We have new Take & Make projects out for May stop by the library to pick yours up, along with some books to enjoy. Make beautiful flowers as we wait for more blooms to arrive in our gardens. Check out our ‘new’ shelves for your child and for yourself. Pictures of the project are on our Facebook page, Legion Memorial Library.
Work on our Outdoor Space continues. It’s looking good. You may see the lights under the capstones as you drive past at night.
Registration for the Bellringer Run will open on May 16th. Follow the Bellringer on Instagram, mellenbellringer. The Run will also have a Facebook page. It should be up and running sometime this week. Check the Library’s website, legionmemoriallibrary.org for Bellringer information as well. Looking forward to seeing you all – Runners, walkers, your fan clubs, and all our awesome Volunteers – on the 4th!
