Join us for an Asahi Nordic Exercise demonstration at Gilman Park on Friday, July 5th at 4pm.  We’ll be joined by Margaret Vainio from Finland.  Margaret visited the library last fall and gave a great demonstration and one of those in attendance, Naomi Kauppi, became an instructor.  The Friends of the Library hosted weekly exercise programs from January through May with Naomi as our instructor.  Participants enjoyed this gentle exercise program suitable for all ages and abilities.  Come and join us on the 5th at 4pm in Gilman Park and try it out for yourself.

The 50th Annual Friends of the Library’s Frog Jump will be held on July 5th at 5pm in Gilman Park.  Come and enjoy this family fun event!

The Friends are also having another Summer Raffle with cash prizes this year.  You may purchase tickets from the library and Friends members.  Tickets are $5 each or 5 for $20.  The drawing will be held after the Asahi demonstration at Gilman Park on July 5th and before the Frog Jump.  Thank you for supporting the Friends.
