Kindness Matters 3/2/2022
Kindness matters . . . the entry to our library and sidewalk have been shoveled these winter months by a modest volunteer. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your thoughtfulness.
There are still a few days to highlight a kindness and gain an entry into a drawing for a prize which includes a $20 cash prize from another anonymous library supporter and some other sweet prizes. The drawing will take place on March 3rd at the Friends of the Library meeting at 6 pm. Recently shared kindnesses: helping a classmate, being kind to a substitute teacher, and sharing a book reading list with a cousin. It doesn’t take much to brighten someone’s day. What will you do today to be kind?
The Friends of the Library will be meeting Thursday, March 3rd at 6 pm. Please join us as we discuss the Bellringer, farmers market, outdoor space, summer reading, and other items of interest.
Following the Friends Meeting at 7 pm join us for Conversation & Crafts. This is a chance to gather and work on craft projects with other crafters. We look forward to see what you’re working on.
Bellringer Volunteers are needed. Thank you to all who have shared your willingness to serve at this community library fundraising event! Sign-up to help by calling the library, 715-274-8331. Thank you!
Be sure to checkout the library’s website, legionmemoriallibrary.org. You’ll find the catalog, digital library and the cover art of our newly added DVDs & books.
