The Bellringer Run will be held on the 4th of July. It will consist of a 2-mile fun run which will start at 8:30am. You may register online from this link: https://runsignup.com/Race/WI/Mellen/FriendsOfTheMellenBellringerRun Paper registration forms are available from the library. Please be sure to use links for registration from the Legion Memorial Library’s website or Facebook page or “Mellen Bellringer” Facebook page. The link is pinned to the top of each Facebook page. The votes have been counted, and the Kids Team mascot for Summer Reading is the Pteranodon! And the Adult Team mascot is the Velociraptor. The Summer Reading Challenge is now underway!!! Sign up for your Summer Reading and start earning points for your team. Earning 50 reading points will earn you a medal. You may pick up a brochure with a variety of offerings for different age groups. Then register for those you wish to attend to help us plan. New this year is an Adult Storytime. One will be held each month based around a theme. June’s theme is “Gardening”, July’s is “The Declaration of Independence” and August’s is “The County Fair”. There are sign-up sheets to attend Adult Storytime as that will help us plan our projects and treats.
The Friends of the Library are hosting a 50/50 Raffle this year on the 4th of July. Buy your tickets at the Library or a Friend.
