January 9 – Library School Storytime

Library School Storytime’s second session has begun.  Join us Thursday mornings at 9 am for Storytime fun.  This week we’ll be reading Steven Kellogg’s “The Missing Mitten Mystery”.  In addition we’ll sing, learn a rhyme, and make a craft.  This is a program planned for 3 year olds to attend with an adult caregiver.  It’s a great chance for kids and grown-ups to meet each other and share the love of reading.  Children of all ages are welcome to attend with their grown-up and participate as they are able.

Conversation & Crafts will meet Thursday nights at 7 pm.  Bring your own hand crafts and visit with other crafters.  We enjoy sharing patterns and tips.  We are willing to help you learn how to knit.  The first project we recommend is a dishcloth.  We have a pattern available and can loan you knitting needles and provide cotton yarn to get you started.

We offering Monday Afternoon Movies at Noon.  Our schedule is as follows:

  • January 14th, Unbroken:  Path to Redemption
  • January 21st, Selma
  • January 28th, God Bless the Broken Road.  Popcorn will be provided.

The Monday Night Book Club will meet on the 14th at 6 pm to discuss, “Braving the Wilderness” by Brene Brown.

The Acrylic Painting class for Saturday, January 19th is quickly filling.  Let us know if you plan on attending as space is limited to 6.  A list of supplies will be given upon registration.
