January 16 – Martin Luther King Jr. Day Movie

Friday, January 18th is Winnie the Pooh Day!  Check out a book by A. A. Milne to enjoy on your own or share with some youngsters.

This upcoming Monday’s movie is in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day – join us for “Selma”.  The movie is a docudrama based on the Civil Rights Activists march from Selma, Alabama to Montgomery to gain voting rights for Black Americans.  Monday the 28th we’ll be showing, “God Bless the Broken Road”.  Monday Movies begin at Noon and include popcorn.

New books and DVDs are being added this week.  Special for the little ones are a bunch of ‘Little Golden Books’.  They’ll be housed in a fox box in the children’s space.
