Friends Used Book Sale
There are a variety of newly added books to our Friends of the Library’s Used Book Sale. Stop by the library’s open hours and see if there’s something that interests you. Donations for books taken are added to the Friends of the Library’s account. Recommendations are to fill a bag for $1 or 25 cents a book. With funds raised, the Friends purchase books, programming and refreshments, flowers for The Friends Place, coffee supplies for the Keurig station, Summer Reading prizes and more. The Friends host two fundraisers over the community’s Annual 4th of July Hometown Celebration, the Bellringer Run and Summer Raffle. They also host the Annual Frog Jump, a free family fun event.
The Friends of the Library will meet on January 8 at 5pm. Come join us in making plans for 2026. What events, programs or Summer Reading offerings would you like to see?
The library is collecting food donations for The Brick. There is a cart by our front door to drop off items. Thank you for your help in filling the cart.
Please be sure to stock up on books, DVDs, and magazines. The Library will be closed on December 31 and January 1. We will be open for our regular hours on Friday and Saturday, 9am-Noon. If interested, check out our online offerings from our website, legionmemoriallibrary.org. From there you may login to your account to search the catalog, place holds, renew books or get a library card if you do not have one.
