February 27 – “CONE-FUSION” Puzzle

The weather has been scrambling our programming, so we’ll try once again next week . . . An audio educational program, “Conscientious Eating:  Mental Health, Inflammation and the Aging Brain” by Lisa Goehler, Ph.D. is being offered at the Library.  The Highbridge Community Homemakers will be our hosts.  It will begin Monday, March 4th at 12:30 PM.  It will continue on 11th, 18th and TBA.  All audio presentations will begin at 12:30 PM and are about an hour in length.  Everyone is welcome to join us.
Library School Storytime’s third session for this school year will begin on Thursday, March 7th at 9 AM.  This literacy based program is planned for children entering Pre-K in the fall to attend with an adult caregiver.  That’s the plan, but all children are welcome to attend and participate as they are able with their grown-up.  We share stories, songs, rhymes, and make a craft.  This session will run each Thursday at 9 AM through the month of April.
The Friends of the Library will meet on March 7th at 5 PM to discuss and plan for the Bellringer Run, including T-shirt contest rules for 2019.  They will also be working on the Library’s Birthday celebration planned for Saturday, March 16th 9 AM to noon.
Following the Friends meeting the group gathering to plan for an outdoor programming space at the library will meet at 6 PM.
Stop by and help with the “Porcupine Eggs” puzzle.  It’s 500 pieces of “CONE-FUSION”.  It’s a picture of pine cones from Winter Woods.  We’re hoping to complete it before the snow melts.
New books will be ordered soon.  Stay tuned.
Hope to see you soon at the library!
