February 20 – Program sponsored by the Highbridge Community Homemakers

An audio educational program, “Conscientious Eating:  Mental Health, Inflammation and the Aging Brain” by Lisa Goehler, Ph.D. is being offered at the Library.  The Highbridge Community Homemakers will be our hosts.  It will begin Monday, February 25th at 12:30 PM.  It will continue on March 4th, 11th & 18th.  All audio presentations will begin at 12:30 PM and are about an hour in length.  Everyone is welcome to join us.

Wisconsin Tax forms have arrived including the Wisconsin Homestead Credit forms.  Please note we received the following announcement with our shipment:  “Tax Forms 1A & WI-Z Discontinued.  Beginning with the 2018 tax year, all Wisconsin residents will use Form 1.  Wisconsin forms 1A and WI-Z were eliminated to match the elimination of federal forms 1040A and 1040EZ.  To see how this change may affect you, visit:  revenue.wi.gov/individuals”.

The library is looking into creating an outdoor programming space.  Come and learn more about this on Thursday, February 21st at 6 PM.

Those of you who have signed up to attend this Saturday’s Acrylic Painting class, are reminded to contact the library if you have not picked up or received a supply list.  Please notify us as soon as possible, if you will not be attending as there is a waiting list.  Thank you!

This Thursday, February 21st will be our last Library School Storytime for the second of three eight-week sessions.  The next session will start on Thursday, March 7th at 9 AM.  Contact the library if you are interested in attending with your child.  This program is planned for children who may be entering school in the fall of this year to attend with an adult.  But please note all children are welcome to attend and participate as they are able.  This week we’ll be reading, “Punk Farm” by Jarrett J. Krosoczka.
