December 5 – Santa Claus Is Coming to Town!
Santa Claus is coming to town this Saturday! The Mellen Lions & Lioness Clubs have once again written to the North Pole and invited the Clauses to visit. They have let us know that they will be stopping at the Library on Saturday, December 8th from 1-3 PM. Be sure to bring your camera and wish lists!
Monday Night Book Club will meet on the 10th to discuss, “In the Midst of Winter” by Isabel Allende and the Wednesday Book Club will meet on the 12th at noon to discuss, “The Best of Adam Sharp” by Graeme C. Simsion.
There will be a Policy Committee meeting next Tuesday, December 11th at 4:30 PM with a Library Board meeting on the same day beginning at 5:30 PM.
We’ve added a few movie dates to the month ahead . . .

Monday, December 17th at noon, It’s a Wonderful Life
Come and enjoy some popcorn and a cup of hot cocoa and watch these oldies, but goodies with friends.
Then for Winter Break we have something for the kids: Wednesday, December 26th at 1 PM we’ll be showing, Frozen – Those interested may sign-up for an acrylic painting session at the library on Thursday, December 27th at 1 PM. We’ll be painting Elsa from the movie Frozen. You must register for the acrylic painting session and the class is limited to 7 people. And finally on Friday, December 28th at 10 AM we’ll be showing, Elf. Popcorn will be served at the movies.
