December 11 – Thank you, Santa & Mrs. Claus!

Thank you, Santa & Mrs. Claus!  Thank you, Mellen Lions Club!  Thank you, Jim Christl for taking a sharing photographs in the Mellen Weekly Record.  We had a wonderful time enjoying out visit with all the children and their families.  Everyone was so appreciative of the beautiful books and candy cane treats.  We sure hope Rudolph is ready to help out this year, if needed.

Due to Monday’s inclement weather the What Kind of Book Club Is This?!? meeting was postponed to Monday, December 16th at 6 PM.

They’ll be discussing Phaedra Patrick’s “The Curious Charms of Arthur Pepper.”

Please note:  If the Mellen School District cancels school for the day or closes early, Legion Memorial Library will do the same.  An update is posted to the library’s Facebook page, as well as on their website.  Thank you for sharing this information.

The Wednesday Book Club will now be meeting at 9 AM.  They’ll be meeting on the 18th to discuss, “Paddling to Winter” by Julie Buckles.

The Library Board of Trustees will be meeting next Tuesday, November 17th at 5:30 PM for their December Monthly meeting.  The Staff Handbook Committee will meet at 4:30 PM.

Please note the library will be closed on December 24th, 25th, and 31st; as well as January 1st.
