Creativebug
The library has access to Creativebug, an online resource for oodles of craft classes. A new batch of “Scary Good Classes for October” have been added. Click on the Creativebug link from our library’s website home page, https://www.legionmemoriallibrary.org/ You will have to scroll down a bit as our calendar pops up first, our digital catalog, catalog, New York Times, NYT Cooking, Transparent Languages, and Kanopy streaming service links are also available from our home page. The Friends of the Library are holding their annual membership drive. Stop by the library and pick-up a brochure with information about their organization. We welcome new members!

What Kind of Book Club Is This?!?! will meet on Monday, October 9th at 6pm to discuss, “The Sentence” by Louise Erdrich.
Ashland County will be at the Senior Center/Library for Flu Shots on Wednesday, October 11th at 11:45am to 1pm.
Acrylic Painting update: We will meet on Thursday, October 26th at 6pm. We’ll be painting along with The Art Sherpa’s “Autumn Pumpkin”. Cinnamon Cooney, The Art Sherpa, often wears corresponding outfits, with fun hair color and nails. I invite you to dress accordingly for our National Pumpkin Day gathering to paint, “Autumn Pumpkin”. Contact the library if you wish to join us as our painting space is limited.
The Little Free Library in Gilman Park is restocked as needed by our faithful volunteer, Betty White. Check it out.
