Come On In and Browse 5/5/2021
Visitors are welcome back inside the library! The first to check out books was our own Mayor Barabe. Curbside Pickup is still available for those that wish to continue with that service. But if you are a ‘browser’ come on in and see what treasures you’ll find. Welcome!!!
Take & Make bags are available for pickup. This month there are two projects, butterflies and flowers for May. Come and see what’s new in the Children’s space.
We’re offering a Summer Reading Outdoor Book Club for grownups. The first title will be arriving soon at the library through inter-library loan. The titles (following the Summer Reading theme: Tails and Tales)and dates of meetings are as follows: June 7 @ 6 pm, “Out of the Northwoods, The Many Lives of Paul Bunyan” by M.E. Banyon; July 12 @ 6 pm, “Dewey, The Small-Town Library Cat that Touched the World” by Vicki Myron; and August 9 at 6 pm, “The Eighty-Dollar Champion, Snowman, The Horse that Inspired at Nation” by Elizabeth Letts. Call the library and we’ll reserve a book for you to pickup and read before the first gathering on June 7th. We will meet outside and ask that you bring your own camp chair, beverage, and bug spray.
Winners of the library Spring Coloring Drawing are: Ajani Bressette, Josie Kretzschmar, Haily Pearson, and Andrea Kretzschmar. Each will be awarded a $10 prize. Thank you one and all who took the time to color a picture for our windows. It is so nice to arrive at the library to the cheery pictures you shared with us. Thank you all so much for brightening our days at the library.
