Author Nick VanderPuy to visit the Library
The Friends of the Library will host an author visit on Wednesday, February 1st at 6:30 pm. Come and welcome fellow community member, Nick VanderPuy and hear about his book, “Water Protectors: The HELP Campaign to Save the Penokees”. His book shares a first-person account of the 2013-14 campaign to stop a mining operation that would have affected the Lake Superior watershed. His book will be available for purchase and refreshments will be served.
Our next paint day will be Friday, February 10th. Contact the library to save a spot and receive a list of supplies. We’re going to paint along to “Easy Cat with Lemons Pop Art Style” with Cinnamon Cooney, The Art Sherpa. Sessions will be offered at 12:30 & 6:30 pm.

We’ll be cataloging as soon as they arrive and then they’ll be ready for check-out.
The Library Board of Trustees Policy Committee will meet on Monday, January 30th at 4:30 pm with the Regular Monthly Meeting of the Board of Trustees to follow at 5:30 pm.
