August 7 – Summer Reading Celebration

The Summer Reading celebration will take place on Friday, August 9th, 10-Noon for all our Summer Reading participants.  This will include the drawing for the Friends of the Library’s cash prizes.  Please let us know if you plan to attend stop by, call (715-274-8331), or email ([email protected]) the library.  Children in 5th Grade and under have earned 3465 reading points and of 67 participants 31 have earned their reading medals.  Some kids are oh so close . . . I hope they do it.  Young people in 6th-12th Grades have 1,167 reading points with 16 participants and hold at half having earned 50 points.  The adults are having their best year ever!  They have 3,720 reading points with 43 participants and 30 have earned 50 reading points or more.

Acrylic Painting will be on Friday, August 16th at 7 PM.  This month we’ll be following along with Jane Font as she talks us through her painting, “Under the Stars”.  Space is limited, so you must pre-register to attend.
