I’ve been busy updating our library’s website, which can be found at  The site includes a monthly calendar of events, new and staff choice book lists as well as links to the Merlin Catalog, NoveList, the Wisconsin Digital Library’s eBooks and audio books.  I’ve also added the book selections for the two library book clubs.  Monthly book club selections may change if not enough copies of a title are available for all members.  Call or stop by the library if you have questions about the website or would like to join one of our book clubs.  You will also find links to Gale Online Courses and BadgerLink.
Friday, August 16th at 7 PM the Acrylic Painting group will meet to paint with Jane Font.  Her work entitled, “Under the Stars” features a campfire.  If you’re interested in attending contact the library, as space is limited.
The final Summer Reading Destination Book Club will meet next Monday, August 19th at 7 PM in Ashland.  We’ll meet at the library at 6 PM to carpool.  Then gather on the shore of Chequamegon Bay at 6th Avenue West.  This is lakeside across from Pearson Plaza.  We’ll discuss Danielle Sosin’s book, “The Long-Shining Waters”.
     Still happily summer reading . . .
