Library School Storytime continues on with our Animal Adventures! This week we’ll learn more about Elephants. Join us on Thursday, April 11th at 9 AM to learn more about elephants through books, music and art.
A few of us met and made Scandinavian Stars last Thursday. This week on the 11th at 7 PM we’ll try our hand at Finnish Stars. We’re making these stars to decorate the library for this year’s Summer Reading Program, “A Universe of Stories”. Come and join us if you’d like! Try your hand at star making or bring your own handcrafted project to work on.
There are still a few spots left for Acrylic Painting on Saturday, April 13th at 6 PM. Please contact the library, if you’re interested in joining us. This month is a sign-like painting with the words, “Faith, Hope, Love”. You are welcome to change the words. Instruction will be by YouTube with Angela Anderson.
Earth Day is fast approaching . . . Reduce, Reuse, Recycle . . . April 22nd Drop-in the Library and make a “Lorax Mustach”, create “Junk Art”, color recycling signs, paint an “Unless” rock, or add to our Truffula tree. Join us at 1 PM to watch the movie, “The Lorax”.
April 23rd Drop-in the Library and make a “Stained Glass Kite” with construction & tissue paper. Join us at 1 PM to watch the movie, “Mary Poppins Returns”.
