Thank You One and All!

Mrs. Claus with Two Children

Mrs. Claus with two children wearing knitted hats given by the Thursday Afternoon Crafters from the Mellen Senior Center.

Thank you to the Mellen Lions Club for inviting Santa & Mrs. Claus to the Library for a nice chat with our morning visitors.  Children were invited to choose a book to keep for their very own from the Lions Club and their sponsors.  The Senior Center’s Thursday Afternoon Crafters gave us a lovely selection of hats & neck warmers for children to choose from to keep.  Mrs. Claus gave each child a candy cane while Santa listened carefully to the wishes and requests of the children.  All our little visitors were invited to enter the Lions free raffle for a bike.  Santa drew the winner at Noon.  This year’s bike winner is Will Huber, son of Libby & James Huber.  Thank you to Santa, Mrs. Claus, the Reindeer, Marcy Henri, and Kay Reader for helping with this joyful event.  We hope to see you all back here in 2025!
