CLICK & Learn
The CLICK & Learn program is available once again at the library. The new Digital Navigator is Jake Koval. He will be here at the library on Mondays in January, 10am-2pm. Stop by the library with your phone, tablet, or laptop questions. He’s here to help. The CLICK & Learn program also offers laptops for checkout. Let Jake know if you’re interested.
Asahi Nordic Exercise will be offered through the month of February on Wednesdays at 4pm. This gentle exercise is for all ages and fitness levels. It is designed to help you improve your balance, flexibility, and strength. Stop by the library on Wednesdays at 4pm to see if this is something that will fit in your movement routine.
The next Paint Night is Friday, January 16th, 6-9pm. We’ll paint along with Michelle the Painter to create “Snowflakes”. Please sign up to attend, so that we save and set a spot for you to paint.
The Friends of the Library are continuing to host a shopping cart for food donations which will be shared with the Mellen Brick. Help us keep our cart full.
The Friends have a used book sale in the library entrance. Fill a bag for a dollar. Or make a donation to the Friends.
The library is starting to gather pictures, stories, and memories of times spent here at Legion Memorial Library over the years. We are gathering them to use as a countdown of sorts for our library’s centennial which will be celebrated in March of 2027. They will be used as Facebook posts, on our website, and in the Mellen Weekly Record. Please share with me as you are willing. Thank you so much!
