We hope to have the online registration ready to access by May 1st.  We’ll update the online address to register on our Facebook page, Legion Memorial Library and our website, legionmemoriallibrary.org as well as post in next week’s article.  Register in May to get the lowest price.  Prices increase on June 1st.  We plan to return to our old race route, starting by the Mellen Post Office and ending by Northern State Bank.  There will only by a 2-mile race again this year.  Road construction will be taking place on HWY 169.

The Friends of the Library will meet on Thursday, May 1st at 5pm.  They will be hosting Ryan Long of Sturgul & Long, SC, Estate Planning & Elder Law Attorneys on Friday, May 16th at 10am.  Come with your questions and get help with planning for your future.

CLICK & Learn will be moving to Mondays in May.  Jay Seppanen will be here from 10am to 1 pm starting May 5th.  He is here to help answer your questions about your laptop, tablet, or phone and has laptops available to loan.  Just like checking out a book.  Long-term loans are available for those who may need a laptop for classwork.

Anyone interested in writing  a book review?  Please let me know.  We’d love to share your thoughts.  All ages welcome to write a review.
