Summer Reading 6/10/2020

Start adding up your Summer Reading Points and share them by phone: 715-274-8331, email: [email protected], or put them on paper and place in the Book Drop.  Earn an extra ticket for the drawing by coloring or drawing a picture of a cow or tractor.  One entry per person.  Leave it in the Book Drop or email me a copy.  I’ll post in the library windows.

We are working towards offering indoor library service.  Thank you for your patience.  Please note that Curbside Pickup is available by appointment anytime I’m at the Library, Monday through Friday.

Anyone wishing to borrow books, DVDs, audiobooks on CD, music CDs, and/or magazines may do so using their library card and accessing the Merlin Online Catalog through our library’s website at www.legionmemoriallibrary.org. Be sure to only choose those items that are owned by Mellen. I’ll update you all as soon as Inter-Library Loans become available once again.

If you know someone who is not online, please help us reach them by letting them know they may call the library to request items. The Library’s phone number is: 715-274-8331. They would need to leave their name and number, as well as the type of books they’re looking for or an author and title they’re interested in, magazine & month, or DVD title. Please encourage the use of the answering machine.

New Books and DVDs have been ordered.  If you are interested any of these titles call the library and leave your name, telephone number and the title(s) you are interested in.  They will be wrapped and cataloged and then a hold will be placed for you. Once they are ready, you will receive a call to make an appointment to pick your selection(s) up.
