Mystery Authors from WI 8/3/2022

Cozy reads: I picked up title in a series by Wisconsin author, Kathleen Ernst, “The Light Keeper’s Legacy”.  I opened it to discover the setting is Rock Island State Park; home to a lighthouse built in 1857. The series’ main character is Chloe Ellefson a curator at Old World Wisconsin. You may enjoy this series if you like reading cozy mysteries with a bit of history.  FYI Ernst also wrote several books in the “American Girl” series for young readers.

We’ve recently added two additional Wisconsin authors to our collection, Joy Ann Ribar and Jeff Nania.  They both write mysteries set here close to home.  Ribar’s series, Deep Lakes Cozy Mystery titles include, “Deep Dark Secrets”, “Deep Bitter Roots”, “Deep Green Envy”, and “Deep Flakes Christmas”. Nania’s series, A Northern Lakes Mystery include, “Spider Lake”, “Figure Eight”, and “Bough Cutter”.  Check them out at the library.
