Library School Storytime Begins Next Week 3/30/2022

The Library will host Library School Storytime for an eight-week Thursday morning Spring session beginning April 7 at 9 am.  We plan programs for 3 year olds to attend with an adult caregiver.  Stop by or call (715-274-8331) the library to register your child.
I’ve received much interest in offering an acrylic painting night.  We’ll start in April with a “Robin’s Egg Nest” paint along on Friday, April 22 – This session is FULL.   Another paint along time has been added, Saturday, April 23 at 12:30 pm.  Call the library to register and receive a supply list.

Youth titles added to our collection through the NWLS Collection Development Grant for 2022 are:  Acorn was a Little Wild by Jen Arena, Big Nate by Lincoln Peirce, Big Shot by Jeff Kinney, Drawing Zentangle Ocean Life by Jane Marbaix, Easy Origami for Kids by Naoko Ishibashi, Get Well Eva by Rebecca Elliott, John’s Turn by Mac Barnett, The Library Fish by Alyssa Satin Capucilli,  New From Here by Kelly Yang, The Ogress and the Orphans by Kelly Barnhill, The School for Whatnots by Margaret Peteson Haddix, This Makes Me Happy by Courtney Carbone, and With Lots of Love by Jenny Torres Sanchez.  These titles are on order and being processed as soon as they arrive.  Let us know if you’d like a hold placed on a title.  Or do it yourself online from the Catalog with your library card found on our webpage, legionmemoriallibrary.org.  Not sure how this works?  We’ll be happy to help you learn how.

The library has many DVDs available for checkout, including titles presented at this past Sunday’s Academy Awards.  You may borrow them for a week with your library card!  If it’s not on the shelf, we can place a hold.

The Bellringer Run Committee will meet Thursday, April 7th at 6 pm.

The Friends will be hosting a Volunteer Appreciation Day on Tuesday, April 12, 1-3 pm.  Stop by the library for a “Thank You!” cupcake.
