A Library Story: One day our library received a book returned express mail. This book had been traveling with a community member and had been misplaced at the Minneapolis Airport. A fellow library user spotted it and knew they had to help. They made some phone calls and mailed the book back to us here in Mellen. They sent it express mail so there would be no overdue charges incurred. They didn’t know we do not charge for overdue materials here, just for unreturned or lost things. Our community member was so happy they sent a “Thank-you!” plus a monetary gift.
Library people are awesome!
