Happy Birthday, LML! 3/9/2022
95 years ago, on March 12, 1927, Legion Memorial Library opened its doors at the now Historic Mellen City Hall. The library was organized and sponsored by the local American Legion post. Read more about the library’s history on our website, legionmemoriallibrary.org. Only five short years before our Centennial celebration. Anyone with ideas on how to celebrate this community’s achievement is invited to share them at the library.
Stop by and pick up the March Take & Make Project and see what’s new & on display in our Children’s room.
Kindness Matters . . . always. Thank you to all who shared their kindnesses with us. And thank you to all who are kind each and every day in your words and deeds. Winners of our Sweet Prizes (donated): $20, Starr Thewis; Burts Bees Package, Skyler Thewis; Homemade Honey, Liam Nortunen; Honeynut Cheerios, Mila Nortunen; and Milk & Golden Honey Softsoap, Sara Schultz.
Recently released books & DVDs continue to trickle in at the library.
