Begin recording your Summer Reading points on June 1^st.  This year the Friends of the Library has purchased eight $50 gift cards from Barnes & Noble as prizes.  There are four age categories, and two gift cards will be awarded in each category:  Kindergarten & under, 1^st -5^th grades, 6^th-12^th grades, and 19+ years old.  One gift card will be drawn for, as in the past from those earning 25 reading points.  You may enter your name for each 25 reading points earned.  The other gift card will go to the person earning the most reading points.  You may only win one gift card.  “All Together Now” let’s read!

Here’s how to earn Reading Points:  Visit Legion Memorial Library/LML here in Mellen.  Sign-up for Summer Reading.  Checkout books and return to LML in Mellen to earn points:

• 1 Point for Children’s Fiction books
• 1 Point for Magazines
• 5 Points for Intermediate books, Juvenile Fiction & Non-Fiction Books
• 10 Points for all (Fiction & Non-Fiction) Young Adult & Adult Books
