Author Visit
The Friends of the Library will be hosting a visit from Ironwood, Michigan author, Debra Hautala Wahlberg. She will be here to present her book, a memoir “Living in Triumph, Victory Over Fear” on Wednesday, February 25th at 3pm. Her book opens with the quote “We must not be defined by the bad things that happen to us, and we cannot wait until everything is okay in order to be happy.” – Nightbirde. It is an inspirational story of the joys and the hardships in her life, the love of her family and her musical gifts, and how God’s presence sustained her. Deb is also a certified Asahi Nordic Exercise instructor and will stay on after her presentation to enjoy Asahi with us.
Mellen School students have once again shared artwork they created with Mrs. Trisa Kleczka. It is on display in the library entrance. Stop by and check it out.
February is Love Your Library Month! In honor of this special occasion, we want to know how your library has made YOUR life better! From February 1-28, 2026, share your library story using the form you may pick up at the library, or you’ll find the link on the library’s Facebook page and website. Enter and you’ll be entered into a drawing for a $50 gift card!

Lego Club is back in session. Join us after school on Thursdays at the library. There are weekly theme challenges or make a creation of your choice. Students’ creations will be on display in the library.
