Outreach Challenges-Meet once a month to decorate a collection box.  It will be at the library for a month.  We invite ALL to donate items to the collection of the month.

• June 9th at 10 am to decorate a box for The Brick
• July 3rd at 10 am to decorate a box for The Chequamegon Animal Shelter
• August 7th at 10 am to decorate a box for School Supplies

Read Books and earn Reading Points will count for patches, summer reading raffle tickets, and most points earned.

SUMMER READING PROGRAM:

Begin recording your Summer Reading points on June 1^st.  This year the Friends of the Library have purchased eight $50 gift cards from Barnes & Noble as prizes.  There are four Summer Reading age categories, and two gift cards will be awarded in each category:

• Kindergarten & under
• 1^st -5^th grades
• 6^th-12^th grades
• 19+ years old.

One gift card will be drawn for from those earning 25 reading points. You may enter your name for each 25 reading points earned.  The other gift card will go to the person earning the most reading points in their age category. You may only win once.

“All Together Now” let’s read!

Reading points will be awarded as follows:

• 1 point for Children’s Fiction Books
• 1 point for Magazines
• 5 points for Intermediate Books
• 5 points for Juvenile Fiction
• 5 points for Juvenile Non-Fiction Books
• 10 points for Young Adult & Adult Books

End of recording Summer Reading points is Friday at noon, August 25th.
