SUMMARY:Library School Storytime
DESCRIPTION:Library School Storytime is planned with 3 year olds in mind\, but children of all ages are welcome to participate as they are able.   It is a program for a child to attend with their adult caregiver.   We read a book\, sing\, say poems or rhymes\, and make a craft to take home.  It’s a nice time to get together and meet other kids and their parents (or grandparents). \nPLEASE NOTE:  If Mellen School CLOSES\, Library School Storytime is cancelled.

DESCRIPTION:Stop by the library Thursday night and bring your own handcrafts to work on.  Enjoy the company of fellow crafters.  If you’d like to learn how to knit\, we’d like to help you get started.  The first project we recommend is a cotton dish cloth.  We have a pattern available.  If you let us know in advance\, we can loan you some knitting needles and have cotton yarn available. \nEach year we donated hand made items to another non-profit.  This year we are making lap quilts for the Northwest Wisconsin Cancer Center in Ashland. \nPLEASE NOTE:  If Mellen School has been CLOSED the day of this event\, it will not take place.
