DESCRIPTION:Please note that the library will be closed for Thanksgiving on Thursday\, November 27.  The library will also be closed on Friday\, November 28.  The Library will be open on Saturday\, November 29 to greet our very special guests Santa & Mrs. Claus.  Library hours on Saturday are 9am-noon.  The Claus’s will arrive at 10am and will stay until noon.  Bring your letters to share with them and be sure to take a few pictures with this lovely couple.  Thanks to the Mellen Lions Club\, each child will receive a book to keep for their very own.  They will also host the Bike Raffle.  All children who visit Santa & Mrs. Claus will be entered into the raffle.  There is no cost for this event or the raffle.  The Thursday Afternoon Knitters have also made a beautiful variety of hats & neck warmers for children to choose from.

DESCRIPTION:This month we will follow along with Michelle the Painter to create her “An Apple a Day”.  Let us know if you’re interested in joining us by calling or stopping by the library. \nThe library has paint supplies on hand for you to use if you’d like.  Or you may bring: your own canvas\, brushes\, water container\, ruler\, chalk pencil\, (If desired: easel\, snack and beverage).  The library has paint\, but it may not be the same colors used in the presentation.  You may bring your own paint or choose from the paint available at the library.  You may change the colors if you wish\, but the YouTube video will be using the colors listed on the supply sheet.  The same goes with the brushes – bring what you have\, but the presentation will be using the types and sizes listed on the supply sheet. \nYou may check out this presentation in advance if you wish.  Under the presentation\, are lists of supplies needed.  They include links to order supplies from\, if you’d like or find this helpful. \n
